How it works

RecoPad bridges the gap between a gym and upholstery repair providers — upload a photo of worn or damaged pads and select which suppliers you'd like quotes from, with GPS to pinpoint your club's location and saved job history for next time.

Torn upholstery, spotted and reported

RecoPad tackles a small problem that quietly costs money: split and torn upholstery on benches and machines. Members photograph the damage in the app and report it, the club gets an alert, and the job goes out to upholstery repair suppliers covering your area. Nobody has to remember to write it on a list on the way past. It also changes the tone of the complaint, because the member who noticed feels listened to rather than ignored.

Repair is cheaper than replace

A ripped pad on an otherwise sound machine is a repair, not a reason to buy a new one, but it only stays a repair if it is dealt with before the foam gets wet and the frame starts to rust. Torn seats are also one of the first things a prospect reads as a club that has stopped caring, and one of the things members mention in reviews. Fixing them quickly is cheap protection for both.

Getting set up

There are apps for operators and for members on iOS and Android, and a separate registration route for repair suppliers wanting work in their region. RecoPad state the platform is already in use at gyms including Anytime Fitness, PureGym, Virgin Active and David Lloyd. Pricing is not published, so it is a conversation with them rather than something you can work out from the website.

RecoPad and ClubRight

Does RecoPad integrate with ClubRight?

Not directly. RecoPad is a supplier ClubRight works with and recommends, rather than a system that passes data back and forth with the platform. Only a small number of ClubRight Connect partners are direct integrations, and their pages say so explicitly. If that distinction matters to what you’re planning — particularly with hardware — ask before you order.

What does RecoPad do?

Do I have to use RecoPad to use ClubRight?

No. Nothing in the ClubRight Connect directory is a requirement and nothing is tied to your account. Use your own supplier if you already have one — the directory exists to save you the research, not to steer you.

Does ClubRight charge extra for this?

No — ClubRight doesn’t add a fee for a partner being listed or connected. Whatever RecoPad charges for their own product is between you and them. Nobody pays to appear in this directory.
