The company

What you’d actually be working on.

ClubRight is the platform around 1,000 gyms, martial arts academies and boxing clubs across the UK and Ireland use to run their businesses — memberships, Direct Debits, class bookings, door access, and the member app that sits in roughly half a million pockets.

That makes the work concrete. The payment runs this team ships collect £182m a year for those clubs. A booking screen that’s slow on a Monday morning is something a coach feels straight away. There isn’t much distance between what gets built and the people it lands on.

It started in 2017, built by people who had run gyms themselves and were tired of software that made the job harder. That’s still how most arguments get settled — someone asks what the owner on the gym floor would actually do, and that tends to be the end of it.

The team is UK-based, working remotely, hybrid, or from HQ in Billericay, Essex.

Benefits

Working here, in practice.

Remote & hybrid

We hire the best person for the job, not just the best person within driving distance of Essex. Work remotely, hybrid, or from HQ.

Quarterly bonus

When ClubRight does well, you do well — our bonus scheme pays out every quarter, not once a year.

Real work-life balance

Not just a line in a job ad. We know what burnout looks like in this industry, and we don’t build our culture around it.

Open roles

No open roles right now — but that doesn’t mean there’s no seat for you.

We hire when we meet the right person, not just when a job ad goes live. If you think you’d make ClubRight better, tell us why — send your CV and a few lines about what you’d want to work on.

Like what we’re building?
Come build it with us.

No open role that fits? Doesn’t matter. If you think you’d make ClubRight better, tell us where you’d fit and what you’d want to work on.

FAQ

Common questions about
working at ClubRight.

Do I have to live near the office?
No. Hiring isn’t limited to people within driving distance of Essex — you can work remotely, hybrid, or from HQ in Billericay, whichever suits you and the role.
There’s nothing open that fits me. Is it worth getting in touch?
Yes. Hiring here happens when the right person turns up, not only when a job ad goes live. Send your CV with a few lines on what you’d want to work on and why you think you’d make ClubRight better.
Is there a bonus, and how often does it pay?
There’s a bonus scheme that pays out every quarter rather than once a year — when the business does well, that shows up in your pay four times a year instead of being a single annual event.
What does ClubRight actually make?
Software that around 1,000 gyms, martial arts academies and boxing clubs across the UK and Ireland run on — memberships, Direct Debits, class bookings, door access and a member app used by roughly half a million people. It collects £182m a year for those clubs.
What’s the culture actually like?
The honest version: it’s a UK team building one product for an industry it knows well, founded by people who ran gyms themselves. Work-life balance is treated as a real constraint rather than a line in a job ad — burnout is well understood in this industry and the place isn’t built around it.
