Common questions about pricing.
Is there a setup fee?
No — there is no setup fee on any plan. You pay your monthly subscription only. We also migrate your existing data from any provider, completely free of charge.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No contracts. You subscribe month-to-month and can cancel at any time. We keep you because we’re good, not because you’re locked in.
How many members can I have?
Unlimited. There are no per-member fees and no tiered pricing based on database size. 50 members or 5,000 — same price.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. You pay your monthly subscription plus payment processing fees on any transactions you take through ClubRight Pay (40–45p per Direct Debit, 1.85% + 20p for card). That’s it — no per-user, per-member, or feature unlock charges.
What add-ons can I buy, and what do they cost?
Everything you need to run your club is in your plan. A few optional add-ons sit on top, and you can start or stop them any time: the multi-site head office add-on (£199/mo) for operators running more than one site; a Custom SUN so your club’s name shows on members’ bank statements (£50/mo, plus a one-off £100 setup); outbound SMS bundles from £10/mo (200 texts) up to £200/mo (5,000 texts); and a dedicated inbound SMS number for £5/mo. All prices are + VAT. Email, push and in-app messaging are included on every plan — only SMS is a paid add-on.
How does Direct Debit payment processing work?
ClubRight Pay collects Direct Debits on your behalf through London & Zurich, an FCA-regulated payment provider. When a member signs up, they authorise a Direct Debit mandate and ClubRight handles all collections, retries, and chasing automatically. Funds settle to your business bank account in 4 working days, with no fee on failed payments, cancellations, or amendments.
What are the Direct Debit T&Cs for members?
When a member sets up a Direct Debit they are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, which gives them the right to an immediate refund from their bank if a payment is taken in error. Your club is responsible for giving members at least 10 working days’ notice of the first collection and at least 3 working days’ notice of any subsequent changes. ClubRight handles all of this notification flow automatically as part of onboarding and mandate management.
What happens if a Direct Debit payment fails?
ClubRight automatically retries failed payments up to 3 times and sends overdue payment chasing to the member on your behalf. You are not charged a fee for failed, cancelled, or amended collections. If a payment continues to fail, the member’s account is flagged and access can be suspended automatically.
When do I receive my payouts?
Direct Debit payouts arrive in your business bank account in 4 working days. Card payouts run on a schedule you choose — daily, weekly or monthly. Payments are handled by our FCA-regulated partners (London & Zurich for Direct Debit, UNIPaaS for card), with the per-transaction fee taken at settlement.
Can I keep using my existing payment provider?
Yes. If you already collect through GoCardless, Harlands, DFC or Stripe, we map those existing recurring payments straight into ClubRight — instantly, with no change to schedules and nothing for your members to do. They keep running with your current provider while new sign-ups go on ClubRight Pay, side by side. So there's nothing to move to get started — though ClubRight Pay is usually the most cost-effective route when you're ready.
What does the free website include?
Every plan includes a professionally built, mobile-first website designed for your club — branded, SEO-optimised, and connected to your booking and membership system. It’s built and launched by the ClubRight team as part of onboarding. Any price changes or classes you update in ClubRight are automatically reflected on the site — no developer needed.
Can I switch plans?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time directly from your dashboard. No penalties, no paperwork, no call required. Most clubs start on Core and move to Complete once they’re ready to invest in growth tools.
I’m not in the UK. Does ClubRight work for me?
ClubRight supports clubs in Ireland and internationally. Payment processing rates and available features vary by region. Outside the UK, GoCardless (for Direct Debit) and Stripe (for card) are both supported. Our team will walk you through exactly what applies to your market.
