The 9th and 10th of May 2018 marked the dates for Elevate, the UK's largest trade show for physical activity, fitness and sports therapy professionals. Two days that put operators, coaches, suppliers and equipment makers under one roof.
Why a software company spends two days on a show floor
ClubRight was built by people who ran gyms before they built software, and the quickest way to stay honest about what an owner actually needs is to stand in front of a few hundred of them and listen. A support ticket tells you what broke. A conversation on a stand tells you what someone has quietly given up on.
Most of those conversations are not about features. They are about time: the evenings spent reconciling payments, the Sunday morning spent chasing a bounced Direct Debit, the members who drifted off without anyone noticing. That is the work the platform exists to take off an owner's desk.
What we showed
The same things a club runs on every day: memberships and member records in one database, Direct Debit and card collection built into them rather than bolted alongside, class timetables and online booking, 24/7 door entry, and a branded app that puts the club in the member's pocket.
Elevate since
2018 was not a one-off. Elevate has stayed in the calendar, and ClubRight has exhibited at it repeatedly since, most recently returning to the show at ExCeL London in 2025, where founder Wayne Heath spoke on building predictable, recurring income for club operators. You can read what we did at Elevate 2025 for the detail.
If you would rather not wait for a trade show, a demo runs on your own club, with your own numbers, and takes about an hour.
