What is a branded gym app?
A branded gym app is a mobile app that carries your club’s name and logo instead of the software provider’s. Members find it under your name on the App Store and Google Play, it sits on their home screen with your logo as the icon, and its notifications come from your club. ClubRight’s branded app is coming soon as an add-on for gyms, studios and clubs that run on ClubRight.
Is a branded app the same as a white-label gym app?
Yes. “White-label gym app”, “custom gym app” and “branded gym app” all describe the same thing: an app built on a software platform but published under your club’s own name and logo, so members only ever see your brand.
Why would my gym want its own branded app?
Because your brand stays in front of members every day. Your logo sits on their home screen, they find you by name in the app stores, and every class reminder arrives from your club. It makes an independent club look as established as the big chains, without building an app from scratch.
How is this different from the member app my club has now?
Your current member app already shows your colours and logo, but members download it as the ClubRight app. The branded app is your club’s own app: listed under your name on the App Store and Google Play, with your logo as the icon and notifications that come from you.
What can members do in the branded app?
Everything they do in the ClubRight member app today: join and pay, book classes, scan in at the door, update their card and buy from your shop. The branded app is built on the same member app, so the difference is whose name and logo are on it.
Can new members sign up directly from the app?
Yes. Someone who finds your club in the App Store or Google Play can download your app, choose a membership and join there and then, without visiting your website or filling in a paper form.
Will the branded app work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Your club’s app will be listed under your name on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, so members can download it on iPhone or Android.
Can push notifications come from my club instead of ClubRight?
Yes. With the branded app, class reminders and updates arrive on members’ phones from your club’s app, showing your name and logo.
Is the branded app only for gyms?
No. It’s available as an add-on to any club that runs on ClubRight: independent gyms, multi-site groups, martial arts academies, boxing clubs, and boutique, Pilates and yoga studios.
When does the branded app launch?
