Designing and kitting out the floor

Origin Fitness design gym floors and supply the equipment to fill them. The design side uses 3D layout software, so before you commit you can see how the space actually works: where the free weights sit, how people move between stations, whether that rig leaves enough room behind it. Edinburgh-based and trading under the Origin name since 2016, they work with performance sport facilities, councils, colleges and universities, health clubs and personal trainers.

Their own range alongside the big brands

As well as distributing established equipment brands they produce their own line of free weights, accessories, flooring and functional training kit. For a club watching the budget, mixing a couple of premium pieces with own-brand plates, racks and rubber flooring is usually how a decent floor gets built without the total running away.

After the install

Servicing is where an equipment supplier earns its keep. Origin run a 48-hour callout across the UK with engineers in Scotland, England and Ireland, and keep a parts warehouse in Edinburgh stocked for current machines and the two generations before them, which matters when a ten-year-old cross trainer needs a console. You can log faults as they happen or take a care and cover package for a predictable annual cost.

Origin Fitness and ClubRight

Does Origin Fitness integrate with ClubRight?

Not directly. Origin Fitness is a supplier ClubRight works with and recommends, rather than a system that passes data back and forth with the platform. Only a small number of ClubRight Connect partners are direct integrations, and their pages say so explicitly. If that distinction matters to what you’re planning — particularly with hardware — ask before you order.

What does Origin Fitness do?

Do I have to use Origin Fitness to use ClubRight?

No. Nothing in the ClubRight Connect directory is a requirement and nothing is tied to your account. Use your own supplier if you already have one — the directory exists to save you the research, not to steer you.

Does ClubRight charge extra for this?

No — ClubRight doesn’t add a fee for a partner being listed or connected. Whatever Origin Fitness charges for their own product is between you and them. Nobody pays to appear in this directory.
