Our old system was holding us back.
We used to use a different management software which was very frustrating to navigate. It was impossible to get reports on the data we needed which slowed things down when it came to making business decisions for the studio. The old system was outdated and we found that we could never find things easily and everything – managing memberships, joining new clients and taking payments – took too long, which frankly put me off wanting to sit down and actually do those boring admin jobs.
We wanted studio management software that was more user-friendly and would bring our internal processes up to date. Speed and convenience are a priority for us because we want to spend as little time behind a computer as possible; our time is better spent looking after our clients.
Why we chose ClubRight.
To be honest, we were so caught up in running the studio that it took us a while actually to organise a demo of ClubRight, but once we did we were drawn to it almost immediately. It looked clean and seemed easy to use and their account executive showed us how simple it was to manage things from an owner’s point of view.
The only thing I had concerns about was how long it was going to take to get our account set up and our data moved over from our old system. I also had a lot of questions about how all the different integrations would work and whether the transfer would be a problem for us. In short, I didn’t want to be faced with a scenario that ended up being more hassle than it was worth.
Now we’re able to spend more time with our clients.
Fortunately for us, ClubRight took care of everything. Our account was created right away and once we’d retrieved our data from the previous provider we were able to put it straight into ClubRight. Their Help Team assisted with the integration setup and it was great to be able to speak to actual humans during that process – which can’t be said for a lot of other software companies!
I really like the flow of being able to edit things from an Owner level. If we have a new promotion or class we want to sell, we can pretty much set it up and start selling it within the hour. We can see everything in one place and I’m no longer spending hours fighting to get our admin done. There’s also an Admin App that has all of the same functions as the desktop version which I can use to keep an eye on the business without having to boot up the computer every time I need to check something.
At the time of writing, we’ve only been using ClubRight for a few weeks, but so far my favourite feature is the Zoom integration. It’s significantly reduced the amount of time it takes to organise our virtual classes because all I have to do is create the online class and a Zoom joining link is sent to the attendees automatically when they book. On top of that, I can communicate with our clients directly through the system so there’s no need for us to have a separate inbox.
Once again, their Help Team is excellent. They’ve made us feel so welcome and no question is too stupid! They’re always more than happy to help with whatever we need.
