D&G Performance Gym is a membership-only facility and we offer key holder members 24/7 access. Our facility in Liskeard has a wide range of cardiovascular equipment, from treadmills and cross trainers to upright bikes and rowers, along with a range of strength equipment. We also have three fantastic personal trainers to run one-on-one/one-on-two sessions that members can book.

We didn’t have a management system in place.
Running the gym before ClubRight was a challenge logistically. We didn’t have a particularly robust system in place and relied on a collections agency to collect membership fees. Eventually, we ran into some challenges and were quite disappointed with their level of support. The cost was also at the top end of our budget and ultimately, we didn’t feel the service was worth the price.
We needed more of a management system that would allow us to manage the gym as a whole as well as collect payments accurately and on time. The ideal system would allow us to communicate more effectively with our members too.
Why we chose ClubRight.
ClubRight came up after some research and we were initially drawn to the system because it had several communication features (text message, email and even push notifications) that we knew would be a massive help to us. They also had excellent support ratings, which was very important to us. There’s nothing worse than committing to a new service and being left completely on your own to set it up.
We organised an online demo and decided to commit to using ClubRight to manage the gym. Our only reservation in those early days was transitioning from our old way of working to a new system, but thankfully the process was very smooth.
We’ve got much more control over our business.
Using ClubRight has given us much more control over our internal processes. We can see all of the important information on the dashboard as soon as we log in and our PTs can see exactly who is attending their sessions and contact them directly from ClubRight if need be. It’s been great for us owners to have visibility without needing to get personally involved in everyday tasks.
The member app has given our members more control over their experience and they can book sessions as they please. Giving them that freedom has been an excellent revenue opportunity for us. They can update their details, renew memberships and join online without us needing to get involved. We’re currently in the process of switching over to ClubRight Pay as well, so we’re excited to see what a difference that makes.
Finally, the support we’ve received has been fantastic. ClubRight has an online chat feature that means we can speak to their Help Team directly, or if we ever need some extra support, they’re happy to give us a call and talk through a solution over the phone.
Would we recommend ClubRight?
Yes, we would recommend ClubRight because it’s the easiest software to use. The sign-up process for members is straightforward and it’s given us so many ways to communicate with our members more effectively.
