We struggled to keep our presale organised.
Back when we were setting up our business, we decided to launch our gym with a presale so that we’d have people in the club working out on our opening day. But, we didn’t have a way of capturing details or an easy way of staying in contact with these leads to make sure they bought a membership from us. An excel spreadsheet wasn’t the answer for us because it wasn’t secure and it required someone to manually enter the lead information – we were too busy trying to make sure the gym opened to be worrying about data entry!
Beyond opening day, we wanted an easy to use solution to oversee our business performance; ideally an all-in-one system with the ability to collect data, communication tools, bookings and automation. We were worried that it’d be hard to find a single system that offered everything we needed, but we wanted to avoid having lots of different software to run the club.
Why we chose ClubRight.
ClubRight came up on our radar and after having a quick look at some of the features they offered we booked a demo to see the software in action. Immediately we loved the fact that it was an all-in-one solution with plenty of integrations with household names like GoCardless and Xero. The software seemed straightforward and easy to pick up, which was another green flag for us because we didn’t have the time to learn how to use a complex system through trial and error. The excellent rapport building and immediate support from the get-go also influenced our decision to choose ClubRight.
Our only reservation was the fact that it was a relatively new solution on the market, so we were worried about any teething issues slowing us down and ultimately giving us more work instead of less. The price also shocked us initially as well – it’s so affordable it almost seemed too good to be true!
The all-in-one solution we needed.
ClubRight was incredibly useful both during our opening period and even still now that we’re an established club. I love the level of insight into the business the software gives me. I’ve used several other gym softwares and it’s safe to say that none of them were as user-friendly as ClubRIght.
The apps are excellent. The Member App allowed us to empower our members to manage their memberships and I can relax knowing that members can access the club 24/7 without someone needing to physically let them in. The app also means that people can book spaces in our group exercise sessions whenever they like, meaning it’s easier for us to make money from them.
Communication tools are probably the features we use the most. We can communicate with our members through email, text and push notifications in a few clicks. This ease of communication means we can keep our customers engaged and informed so that we can retain them for longer.
Perhaps best of all, there’s constant support available from the ClubRight team. They have an orange button feature within the application that we can message with any questions we’ve got and we get a response within minutes.
Would we recommend ClubRight?
I would absolutely recommend ClubRight to any gym owner. You can keep a close eye on the performance of your business from anywhere using your laptop, tablet or even your phone.
If you’re thinking about getting started with them, just do it. What’s the risk? There’s no commitment to a contract but once you’ve started, you won’t want to look elsewhere anyway.
