We were looking for easy-to-use gym software to help us open our gym.
Before opening our doors, we knew that we needed a gym management system to store member information, help us keep track of membership sales and stay on top of who’s paid – ideally, the system would feel like another member of our team.
The software needed to be easy to use because we wanted members to have access to the software too; so that they could manage their own memberships online. Plus, we’re a 24-hour gym operated using access codes, so we needed software that we could trust with that responsibility.
We didn’t look at any other solution.
ClubRight was the first club software we looked at and it’s safe to say I didn’t bother looking at any other solutions. After the initial demo, I had total confidence that ClubRight would give us everything we need. They showed us the software in detail and even took the time to put our logo into the system so that we could visualise how it would work in our business.
I’m constantly on the go so I need software that is practical for me as a gym owner that manages the club’s admin as well as coaching and training full-time, so my biggest worry was not being notified if a member’s payment failed so that I can follow it up, but ClubRight takes care of that too.
I’m shocking when it comes to technology, so the detailed set-up session over Zoom was very useful. Neil and Wayne are both incredible along with the rest of the team. They’re always a message away if we need help or advice.
Along with the fantastic demo and set-up session, they also arranged a quick virtual ‘check up’ with us to make sure we were getting the most out of ClubRight. Their ‘Orange Circle’ is full of detailed guides and tutorials so that we can find answers to our questions ourselves.
We love everything about ClubRight.
I’m able to access all member details from my smartphone and I get notified as soon as a member misses a payment. I can log in at any time and see everything I need immediately on the Dashboard: notifications, messages, tasks, footfall and so much more – it’s so powerful. ClubRight connects seamlessly with our Direct Debit Collections software and so it’s clear when a member needs to update their payment details or renew an expired membership. Since everyone is stored in the same database, I can contact specific members or groups of members in a matter of clicks.
I can see when there are members in the club – which is especially useful in the evenings – and if their membership has expired I don’t need to worry about them using the facilities because they will not be able to gain access to the gym.
Our members also get free access to the Member App too, meaning they can log into their account and view our special offers and club news, stay in control of their memberships and update their own details. They love the system and always tell us how easy it is to book classes and purchase memberships, so it’s great to know our members are enjoying ClubRight as well.
While our doors were open we experienced two lockdowns, which was especially challenging for us considering we were a new business. But, ClubRight supported us throughout and helped us put plans in place to ensure we stayed afloat. They released a Zoom integration which allowed us to deliver classes virtually as well as a bulk-freeze option to help us keep track of members that wished to pause their memberships during the lockdowns.
Their CEO, Wayne, is always open to ideas and will happily listen to us if we think of any features that might be beneficial for us and other gym owners out there. I love everything about ClubRight and I can honestly say I don’t think we could find a better software company to help us run our successful gym.

My favourite thing about ClubRight is that it’s so easy to use and they’re always a message away if we need help or support. In terms of their tech, they’re continuously developing and introducing new functionality to make the lives of gym owners easier which we love.
We’ve recommended ClubRight to fellow gym owners and they all love the system (and how easy it is to use!) as much as we do.
