Club admin was a real headache.
Before we started using ClubRight, we struggled to keep on top of club admin because we were using an outdated CRM and spreadsheets to do most of the work. As a result, we had a lot of problems manually collecting payments and tracking attendance. Managing the bookings, in general, was such a headache. Especially because we had a lot of parents that needed to book their children into classes so the name on the payment record usually didn’t match the name of the person attending the classes.
The ideal solution for us would’ve been an all-in-one system so we could stop bouncing between spreadsheets and stay on top of the admin side of the business without spending all of our time stuck behind a computer.

After we had a quick look at ClubRight, we loved the fact that the system was integrated with everything we needed; payments, bookings and general club management. ClubRight also has a feature where parents and guardians can manage their children’s bookings without there being any confusion on our end as to who’s turning up to the classes – that alone would help us massively.
We organised an online demo and were immediately impressed with the system. Their representative showed us how each area of the system would work in the context of our business and it seemed like we’d be able to get used to the system pretty quickly.
As brilliant as everything seemed initially, we had some reservations about the setup and how the payment collections would work… but it turned out we didn’t need to worry.
Running the academy is a breeze thanks to ClubRight!
Since implementing ClubRight, running the academy has been a breeze. The setup was straightforward and there was plenty of assistance on hand should we have needed it. Now, we’ve got a robust booking system that allows us to see who’s booked and how many students there are in a class at a glance.
Members have an app that they can download from the App Store that allows them to manage their bookings, which means they’re no longer ringing me or my team to book a place in a session. Parents can use it to book their children into classes and pay for them online so that we don’t have to spend valuable time chasing payments in a class.
We can message individual members or selected member groups which is excellent; it means if we need to send a notice out that’s only relevant to our junior members, our adult members don’t get inundated with irrelevant information.
ClubRight is an easy-to-use system. We’ve had full support from their team and nothing is too much trouble if you need help. They’ve got a web chat run by real people on the other end as well as a knowledge base full of tutorials that are there if we need them.
