Our admin was stopping us from growing.
Before we got started with ClubRight, our business was very small and operated from a tiny shop-size premises and bookings were managed in a paper diary. We decided to move to larger premises after a year of being in business and I took up a full-time position purely to look after bookings and collect missed payments. Arguably, leaving this to a debt collections agency would’ve made this easier, but it would give us bad press in a small community – not to mention costing us more money and time.
We suddenly had a lot of admin work piling up and it wasn’t long before we began to lose control of the operations side of the business, meaning we were unable to grow.
We wanted one system to solve all of our problems.
Our goal was to find a solution to help control our daily class bookings, classes and stay on top of payments. That way, we would be able to spend more time with our clients and concentrate on growing the company.
After finding ClubRight, we contacted them right away for an initial conversation to chat about the problems we wanted to solve and their founder, Wayne, was very friendly and approachable. He offered us his valuable time to give us a demo and explain how the software could help us with the operational problems we were having. We’re not particularly tech-savvy having never used a software system like ClubRight before, but Wayne offered us plenty of help and support while we were getting to grips with it. For a team that generally aren’t very tech- savvy, we found it very easy to use.
Life after ClubRight
Over the last 6 years, the software has gone from strength to strength and the service level has never dropped. Even though he has a great team behind him, Wayne still makes the time to speak to us every so often which I think is fantastic. It’s lovely to see founders that grow their companies, build great teams and still never get above themselves to spend time with and help their clients.
We love how the dashboard shows us all of the key information we need to know as soon as we log in. KPIs such as failed payments, cancelled members or customers with expired memberships so that we can address it quickly and efficiently and retain our customers for longer.
Our customers love the Member App and the latest addition of push notifications has made it even easier for us to stay in touch with them, it’s great to use software that has been created for people that own gyms because they have a real understanding of how it all works. The level of support we’ve received is exceptional. ClubRight’s Help Team are always happy to help us via their web chat or telephone call if it’s necessary. Simply put, we could not run our gym without ClubRight.
Would I recommend ClubRight?
I would most definitely recommend ClubRight. I don’t believe anyone could run a successful growing company without this software. It’s the best around and the best value for money.
