Running the gym was hit and miss.
Running the gym used to be very hit and miss, and there was a lot of confusion around memberships and class bookings. Staying on top of payments and renewals was a manual process, and day-to-day management duties were a struggle for our team. We also wanted to transition to becoming a 24-hour facility in the future, but it felt like an impossible task because we had no way to manage it.
Why we chose ClubRight.
We liked the look of ClubRight because the software was user-friendly, and the amount of features you get access to for the price point was very competitive in comparison to some of the other systems available.
The only thing I was personally concerned about was being tied into a contract that didn’t work for me. It would’ve been frustrating to be committed to paying for a management system that didn’t give us what we needed, but we were told from the beginning that ClubRight would never tie its users into a contract. It’s been a brilliant addition to the gym, so there was no need to worry!

It’s so much easier to manage the gym with ClubRight. We have access to detailed reporting that provides insight into how the business is performing, allowing us to adjust our marketing strategy accordingly. For example, we can see when the gym is busiest and quietest, so we can promote quieter times on our social media to attract more members.
On top of general management being made easier, we’ve successfully moved to a 24-hour model as of October 2025. Each member gets a QR code in their app, which they scan for entry, so they can still access the gym during unstaffed hours. What’s especially useful about this process is that if a member hasn’t paid their membership fee, then they won’t be able to get in, and the QR code updates every few seconds to stop members from sharing it with non-members.
We also sell gym-branded clothing, specialist ready meals and snacks, training accessories and supplements, which members purchase in ClubRight’s member app, so they can treat themselves after a session without needing their physical card.
Most importantly, the customer support has been excellent. Yoana has been on hand to help me with any queries I have, and her advice has been invaluable.
Would we recommend ClubRight?
We would definitely recommend ClubRight. They tick all the boxes and stay one of the most competitive gym software on the market. Overall, we’re very pleased with the system and their service!
